Coverage, physician orders and what it costs
Home wound care is usually paid for by insurance or Medicaid when a physician orders it and it is medically necessary. Here is exactly how that works, in plain language.
Payers we accept
Florida Medicaid
Accepted when services are medically necessary, ordered by your physician and you meet the program’s eligibility rules.
Private insurance
We’ll verify your insurance coverage, including any out-of-network benefits.
Private pay
Yes, please contact us for more details on your needs.
We do not bill Medicare at this time. If you have Medicare, call 850-940-4325 and we will explain what is available to you. Coverage and eligibility are always determined individually — we never promise that a service will be covered before we have checked.
How to check if you qualify
How do I find out whether home wound care is covered?
Have your insurance or Medicaid card and the name of the provider treating your wound handy. That is all we need to start the check.
Call us with the basics
Your name, your county, and who is treating the wound. No medical details are needed to get started.
We ask your physician for the order
We confirm who is treating you, request the wound care order, and tell you what is still outstanding.
We check your benefits
We verify your Medicaid or private insurance coverage and explain what is covered and what you may owe.
